Powerhouse

The term powerhouse indicates the set of muscles that make up the anatomical corset that supports the spine and consequently the whole body. That is why it is so important to take care of it and train it.

The idea of powerhouse goes beyond the core concept, which is only part of it. The powerhouse in addition to the abdominal, lumbar muscles includes the muscles that support the spine (multifids), those that surround the hips and buttocks and the pelvic floor.

Each muscle of the powerhouse contributes, therefore, to the execution of most of the movements that we carry out daily.

One of the most important challenges for those who approach the Method is the active involvement of the powerhouse. The energy, stability, strength and control resulting from the training of this part of the body allow not only to safely perform advanced exercises, but also to experience a high level of physical well-being.
