ACTION AND MOTIVATION: THE VIRTUOUS CIRCLE OF WELL-BEING

We always have a good reason to put off our well-being. We talk about it a lot, but we constantly procrastinate and never decide to truly take care of ourselves.

Finding the motivation to work out seems like the hardest thing in the world, but the ever-present excuse is an unforgiving mistake when it comes to the well-being of body and mind. The weather—too hot or too cold, tiredness, children, parents, and commitments of all kinds…

It’s the action that creates the motivation! Let’s start with action to trigger this virtuous circle.

1. Initially, choose SMART goals: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-based

2. Always keep in mind the good reasons to dedicate time to your training: health, wellbeing, beauty.

3. Plan ahead: Consider your workout a personal appointment, a priority within your weekly/daily schedule.

4. Find the right team of teachers for you, who motivates you to achieve your goals.

5. Choose a multidisciplinary training program: variation stimulates not only physiological processes but also the curiosity of the mind and body.

6. Combine exercise with socializing: friends can motivate and encourage you, working out with friends makes everything more fun;

7. Follow a balanced diet. An adequate ratio of macronutrients (protein, carbohydrates and fats) helps you achieve your fitness goals by promoting motivation.

8. Don’t always expect 100%. Not all days are the same, don’t let yourself be overwhelmed by commitments and don’t give in to laziness, instead reduce your training load without skipping it.
